The Perfect Combination- London, Friends and Music


Summary: Just a story about two friends who are in London and the things they get up to there.

Ps. The two friends are me and my real-life 'twinno' who is called Jenny in the Fiction. We actually are both named Sarah but I changed one of the names to Jenny to avoid confusion xD

This is my first fan fiction so I hope its ok!! Hope you enjoy it!



It was great being in London!! I woke up with lots of energy at about seven in the morning and leapt out of bed. I jumped onto the tangle of bed sheets in the bed next to me. I heard a muffled ‘gerr off’ from under all the sheets. My best friend Jennifer, better known as Jenny emerged from under the sheets looking half-asleep and quite pissed……….

‘‘Why did you wake me?’’ she whined, ‘‘I was having a great dream!!’’

‘‘About who, exactly?’’ I already had suspicions but I couldn’t help but ask.

‘‘Gustav’’ she said, half-triumphantly and beamed at me.

‘‘I expected it was about Him’’ I said, putting a little more effort in the last word to make it seem as If I disapproved.

‘‘Twinnooo’’ she said, startled, ‘‘I thought you liked him?’’

‘‘Of course I do, as for that wacky Zacky…….’’ I started, and then rolled off the bed to avoid a flying pillow.

Twinno is our pet name for each other as they sometimes call us the twins at school since we had very similar tastes. We’re best friends and when we’re not together we miss each other. We do have different opinions on some things though but as for musical taste though, we can both safely agree that Tokio Hotel are by far our favourites.

‘‘Honestly, I’m still tired after yesterday ’’, Jenny started up again.

‘‘Oh come on, I’ve got plenty of energy!’’ I replied

Last night was one of the best nights of my life, My Chemical Romance had finally launched a European Tour and me and Jenny had gone to one of there concerts in London. I really liked My Chemical Romance and though Jenny hardly cared for them, I dragged her along anyway. She didn’t complain at all because, I must admit, My Chemical Romance were great and they put on one hell of a show. It was the best night of our lives though Jenny was utterly horrified when Frank Iero, one of my personal favourites, spat some water as far as the third row! I had seen some My Chemical Romance concerts before but this was the best! Gerard sung with so much passion and the rest of the band all had so much energy and power that you could not help singing along and feeling the pulse of the music.

When we returned to our hotel room we collapsed onto each of our beds after getting ready. We were so exhausted we were fast asleep in a matter of seconds!

While I was thinking about last night’s concert Jenny had gone back to sleep and I decided to do the same. I fell asleep to the sound of my iPod with Green Day blaring out of the headphones.

Wow that was pretty good and very well written! Lol I'd be acting like that if I'd gone to see MCR! They do kick ass! Just like Gee's tight ass I like the story and I'm eager to see where it's going! more please xD

It was already 10 a.m. The ringing of the telephone had woken me.


‘‘Grrrrr, it’s that blasted phone!!’’ grumbled Jenny, covering her face with her pillow and turning over in her bed to continue sleeping.
‘‘I know perfectly well what it is.’’ I replied and picked up the phone.


It was the receptionist of our hotel, telling us that a suitcase of ours had arrived at the hotel after a mix-up at the airport. I heard a click and put the phone down.


‘‘Twinno, I’m going down to the reception to get my missing case. It arrived at the airport.’’ I said to the mound on the other bed.
‘‘Ok, as long as I can stay here’’
‘‘Oh yeah…’’ I mumbled, already thinking about what I was going to change into as I had already worn most of my clothes.


I put on my favourite t-shirt and black jeans, with my long hoodie on top. I washed my face and rimmed my eyes with a bit of eyeliner, not too much as I was only going downstairs after all. I walked out of the room and the door shut automatically behind me. I turned the corner absentmindedly, nearly crashing into someone who was going the opposite way. I came face to face with him. I stared at him for a couple of seconds. There was something familiar about him………..


‘‘Oh, sorry! Do I know you???’’ I stammered rather tactlessly. I couldn’t see his face well as he had rather large black sunglasses on. It was quite odd that he was wearing them indoors.


‘‘Well you might.’’ He said, rather surprised himself. He took off his glasses after he checked no one was watching.

‘‘Bbillll..’’ I started, stuttering and totally stunned. I must have looked a total idiot, just staring at him. The wind could have blown me over!



‘‘Hi’’ he said with a cheeky smile.



After seeing him smile I couldn’t help grinning myself. I don’t know how, but we walked to the lift and down to the hotel lobby.



On the way we chatted as if we’d met years ago. Apparently Tom, Gustav and Georg had gone to ‘their type’ of places and Bill had stayed behind. He had got bored and gone for a walk around the corridors to ‘contemplate’, in his own words.



He put on his sun-glasses again as we had reached the reception and while he waited I got my lost baggage (my guitar in its special travelling case) out of the hold.



(I had taken my guitar as we were going to atay in London for quite a long time, to really savour the holidays and as Jenny wanted to have lots of time to explore all the shops in the city!)



We sat in the lobby and discussed all sorts of things. Bill asked if I could sing and my horrified answer made him chuckle and assured him that I couldn’t sing to save my life.



I also told him about Jenny and guess what?? He invited me and Jenny to meet the rest of the band at the hotel restaurant that evening!!!



Thank you for airport baggage mix-ups!!!!!!!!!
