[x]Tom Kaulitz[x] The Words From A Stranger [x]One Shot[x]

I shook my head and stomped out of my little room that I share with my two younger sisters; I stomped all the way into the living room where my father was yelling at my sobbing five year old sister. I can't stand his shit no more.

"Shut up!" I snarled walking up to him.

"What did you say?" My father hissed turning to face me.

"You heard me dumbass."

In all of two seconds I saw his hand flash up and slap me across the face, for the second time today. I rolled my eyes and spat, "You're not fit to take care of children. Like, how in the fucking world do you expect a five year old child to know what the hell is the answer to six times four."

"It's not like you can do anything," He spat back, sending specks of spittle on to my face.

I snorted, "I can. Just watch me."

I turned around and before he could do anything I stormed out of the apartment slamming the door shut after me loudly. Just you wait you asshole. I'll find a better paying job and find a new place to live and then when I turn eighteen I'll take my sister's back.

The sound of a door opening sounded behind me and I quickly ran to the door and pushed it open before basically jumping down the stairs to the lobby. I quickly bolted out and into the dark and cool night.

I slowed my running down to briskly walking.

Usually when I become like this I ignore everything around me and walk until I can't possibly walk no more. I stomped into the street and heard the sudden sound of a car's brakes; screeching down to a stop to the right of me.

My heart jumped out of its chamber; but I didn't look back I only kept walking quickly.

Where to? Kill me if I know.

After stomping in a rage for God knows how long I finally stopped and found myself at the entrance of a broken down park. Brilliant. This will be my abode for tonight. I only wished I thought to put on a hoodie before stomping out of our room like that. Whatever, I'll live.

A small smile started to form on my lips when I looked around the little; but still spacious rundown park. I've got the park all to myself. I walked slowly up to one of the two swings in the park, slowly, hearing the sound of crunching leaves.

Fall time, or autumn time. The best time of the fucking year. Not too cold, and defiantly not too hot.

I lowered myself slowly on one of the swings and just sat there staring into the pitch black of nothingness. Not even a stupid squirrel was scurrying about.

I sighed and gently held onto the chains of the swing and slowly swung myself, just enough to move me, not to actually lift me off the ground and into the air.

I froze on the swing when I heard the crunching of leaves.

Who in their right minds would go to a rundown park in the middle of the night; excluding myself. I looked up to see the silhouette of a tall person walking towards me. I gulped and stiffened on the swing. If worst comes to worst I’ll aim for the urination area; be it man or woman that place hurts a lot. Mostly for a man for obvious reasons.

And trust me; after playing soccer for three straight years I kick pretty hard. So I can do some damage in order to run to find another place to stay overnight.

The person suddenly sat down on the swing next to me; and since this is an old park that means that the person was sitting of touching distance to me. Stupid people never had any though of knowing that children can hurt each other with no room for their legs and such.

After a few silent and creepy minutes I decided that maybe, just maybe the person didn't see me. I shook my head. As if.

"Do you live here?" The person, who sounded foreign, murmured.

"As of tonight," I responded, "Yes."

"Oh."

"And your reason for being here?" I questioned.

Instead of answering the person next to me started to swing; I kept my eyes staring straight ahead of me. Not going to look at the person, who from the deepness of the voice might be male; since I don't want to be held in an awkward position. Not like this isn't awkward.

I sighed and after two minutes of silence stood up from the swing and walked over to the wooden play contraption. I stepped up the two steps and sat down on the top one resting my arms on my knees with my chin slightly leaning upon my arms.

I shut my eyes and started to hum to myself; when everything gets too eerie quiet I start to hum; and tonight the song my heart choose to hum is Lithium. I've listened to the song so many times that I have the lyrics imprinted into my mind and into my arm; as in a tattoo.

"What are you humming?"

The sudden sound of human speech shocked me and my eyes snapped open at the same time as I jumped up. Second time my heart jumped out of its chamber.

"Mein Gott," The man whispered, "I'm sorry for scaring you."

I crossed my arms together and mumbled, "Its okay."

After a few seconds the man stated, "So what were you humming?"

My eyes widened in amazement; how could anyone with a brain not know this song?

"Lithium," I grunted.

"Oh…"

"By Evanescence," I added with a snort.

"Right."

My God where has this man been living all his life? Under a rock?!

"What are you doing here?" I mumbled.

"I came here to look for the person I almost ran over earlier," The man reported, "Do you know where I could find that person?"

I sighed, "Sorry I wasn't looking."

"You looked like you was in hurry."

I nodded.

"Why is that?"

Oh why is this stranger with a deep voice bombarding me with questions that I can't answer without literally breaking down?

"Whoa," The man exclaimed softly, "I did not mean to make you cry."

I brought my right hand up to my face and wiped to feel wetness; indeed he is right. I am crying.

"It's not your fault, I'm just sick with a certain person right now."

"Do you want to talk about it?" The man offered, "Except I'm not too good at giving advice."

I sniffed and opened my mouth to talk when I felt sudden warmth on my skin; I looked down to find a rather large white hoodie on me. I turned to the man and took in his appearance; his hair is woven into dreadlocks and his lower lip is pierced; I looked at the man's pants and noticed that they looked enormous for his thin structure.

"Thanks," I whispered, looking back up at his, now staring at me, face.

"Bitte sehr."

"Huh?"

The man chuckled, "Sorry. I forget you not German."

"So you're German?" I repeated as a question.

"Ja."

"What are you doing here in Etobicoke?"

Silence met my question.

Rude much?

"I'll tell only after what made you cry."

I sighed and started to tell him about what happened earlier with my father at home.

A few minutes later the man shook his head, "No offence but you're father is kind of crazy in a bad way."

I giggled softly, "You have no idea."

"If you want I can help you and I can try to help your sisters."

"How?"

"Well, I've got the money and I don't mind helping someone like you with getting steady on her feet," The man answered with a kind smile.

Um. Wow. What a nice stranger.

"Where'd you get the money from?"

"My job."

I nodded, "And you do what?"

"I play the guitar."

"So you're in a band?"

Getting answers from this man is like trying to take candy from a preschooler.

"Ja."

"Are you any good?"

Me and my music obsession.

"Hell yes, we're like totally famous, and I've got a concert here tomorrow night."

I nodded, "Oh."

"My band is called Tokio Hotel," The man continued, "Do you know of it?"

I shook my head, "Sorry no."

The man chuckled and shook his head saying, "How about you come with me and tomorrow you can see our band rock your socks off."

I looked down at my vans and stated, "I'm not wearing any socks."

"Then we'll knock the air out of your lungs."

"How?" I laughed.

"You'll be screaming," He laughed, "My name of course."

I laughed. This dreadlocked man is pretty amusing. Then my laughter abruptly stopped.

"I don't even know your name and your age," I mumbled, "What if you're some old lunatic?"

The man laughed, "Do I look old to you and I'm nineteen--"

"You're two years older than me," I pointed out.

"And the name is Tom. Tom Kaulitz."

"Oh."

"When someone tells you their name you should tell them your name as well."

"Paula."

"Well, Paula, I don't know about you but I don't want to spend my night in a cold spooky looking place."

"Oh. Bye then," I mumbled.

"Um. I'm inviting you to my hotel room."

I slid away from him, "Excuse me?"

Does he want to get into my pants?

"I didn't mean that. I just want to eat and sleep on a bed," Tom insisted, "I don't want to leave you here alone."

"Oh. I'm sorry."

"That's alright," Tom smiled standing up, "Let's go."

I took hold of his outstretched hand and he pulled me to my feet.

He led us through the leaves and through the nothingness.

Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside.
Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without...
Lithium, ...stay in love with you.
I'm gonna let it go.
